About Me George Makarow I was born on August 26, 1963. I worked as a Master Cabinetmaker for 43 years. Cabinetmaking taught me the importance of accuracy, planning, problem solving, and building things from a solid foundation. Technology & Programming I enjoy learning and working with computers, programming, web development, and electronics. Some of the technologies I work with as hobbies include: PHP HTML MySQL Python Autodesk Fusion 3D Printing Building & RC Hobbies I have always enjoyed building things and understanding how they work. Over the years I have built and worked with: RC Airplanes RC Trucks RC Cars RC Helicopters Always Learning After spending most of my working life building things with wood, tools, and machinery, I continue that same approach with computers, programming, electronics, 3D design, and fabrication. I enjoy learning by building real projects, solving problems when something doesn't work, and understanding how all the pieces fit together. G-Portal is one of those projects — a place where I can continue learning PHP, MySQL, HTML, web development, and server management while building something useful for myself.
